As the producer of the Rieke Student News, I'm responsible for managing the three stages of video production:
Pre-production: Weekly planning meetings to create a shot list, which I review with student reporters. This ensures that we have a clear plan for each video we produce.
Filming: I work with the student reporters to film using green screen, audio equipment, and props. By collaborating closely with the reporters, I help ensure that we capture the footage we need to tell our stories effectively.
Editing: Once filming is complete, I use Final Cut Pro, Envato, and Quik to edit the videos. This includes adding transitions, sound effects, and other post-production elements that help bring the videos to life. Finally, I upload the finished videos to the school's YouTube channel for the community to enjoy.
As the proud producer of the Rieke Student News, I take great pride in creating high-quality videos that inform and inspire our school community. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about our production process, please don't hesitate to reach out!
